Kicking Off 12 Days of SOLID Service: Giving Back, Together
At SOLID Surface Care, service has always been at the heart of who we are — service to our clients, to each other, and to the communities we call home. This December, we’re putting that value into action in a meaningful way with the launch of 12 Days of SOLID Service, a company-wide initiative focused on supporting children, families, and communities during the holiday season.
Guided by our Human Resources leaders, Maggie Mack and Allison Peadon, this program was created to reflect who we are as a company: people who step up, support one another, and give back to the communities where we live and work.

12 Days of SOLID Service is all about spreading generosity, compassion, and community support. Across the U.S., SOLID team members are partnering with local organizations to uplift neighbors in need — from providing meals, delivering bikes, and supporting literacy to lending time, heart, and hands wherever they’re needed most.
From building, sorting, and delivering to laughing, leading, and lifting others up, our teams have shown up with heart, purpose, and generosity. It’s about culture. It’s about kindness. And it’s about living out SOLID’s commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the work we do every day.
Here’s a Look at What We’ve Accomplished So Far
Habitat for Humanity: IT Leads the Way
Our IT team was the first to jump in, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region to support families on their path to safe, stable housing.

Bikes, Big Smiles & Holiday Joy with Trips for Kids Charlotte
Members of our Executive, HR, and Operations Teams caravanned together to deliver 14 brand-new bicycles to Trips for Kids Charlotte, helping ensure local children receive bikes in time for Christmas.
Trips for Kids Charlotte transforms lives through cycling by providing access, education, repair programs, and meaningful biking experiences. We are honored to support their mission and incredibly proud of our team for stepping up in such a joyful way.

Serving Meals & Serving Kindness with Manna Community Kitchen
In Northampton, Massachusetts, Mark Erba, Vice President of Enterprise Clients, volunteered with Manna Community Kitchen, helping prepare a Christmas Eve luncheon for residents experiencing food insecurity.
And he didn’t stop there. Mark also delivered meals on Christmas Day to homebound residents in his community. That’s compassion in action, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Books, Laughter & Impact with Promising Pages
A few of our Charlotte team members volunteered with Promising Pages, the Charlotte Area Book Bank that collects, restores, and distributes books to children with few, if any, books at home.
Together, they helped sort, tag, and count 1,518 books for middle and high school students. We love continuing our tradition of supporting this incredible organization and helping spread the joy of reading.
Huge thanks to:
- Maggie Mack — Human Resources Director
- Allison Peadon, PHR — Human Resources Manager
- Jon Hull — Business Support / Team Lead
- Heather Watson — Sales Operations Coordinator
- Lindsey Brennan — Corporate Recruiter
- Yaoda Turner — Payroll Specialist

And We’re Not Done Yet…
There are still more volunteer days ahead, more communities to support, and more opportunities for our teams to get involved. We couldn’t be prouder of the compassion, energy, and creativity our people are bringing to this initiative.
Here’s to the power of people, community, and a SOLID heart for service.
