On the evening of February 21, teammates from across the country came together—some in person at our corporate headquarters, others tuning in from locations nationwide—for one of the most meaningful events on the SOLID calendar: the 2025 SOLID Awards Ceremony.

This annual celebration is more than an awards night. It’s a reflection of who we are.

Since 1999, SOLID has made it a priority to recognize the people behind the work—the experts, leaders, innovators, and teammates whose dedication brings our values to life every day. Year after year, this ceremony serves as a reminder that while our services, technology, and footprint continue to grow, our culture remains rooted in people.

A Night Grounded in Values

The evening opened with remarks from Mike Crippen, CEO and Founder, who reflected on a defining year for SOLID—one marked by strong performance, continued momentum, and deepened market leadership. But at its core, the message was simple: none of it happens without the commitment, integrity, and collaboration of our team.

These values are not just words on a screen—they are the standards that guide how we show up for our clients, our teammates, and our communities. Many of the awards presented were peer-nominated, making each recognition especially meaningful and personal.

Honoring Excellence Across the Organization

From field operations and safety to sales, administration, and leadership, we celebrated the achievements of more than 40 teammates across the company, with several of SOLID’s most prestigious awards anchoring the evening. This year’s top honors went to:

• Phil Calabritto Guild Award – Jose Bautista, Regional Technical Manager
  Celebrating technical mastery, mentorship, and a relentless commitment to doing the work the right way.

• Dan Abitol Award – Barry Wilkins, Regional Operations Manager
  Recognizing operational excellence, leadership, and the ability to inspire others through action and care.

• Innovation Award – Tom Haslach, Chief Development Officer
  Honoring visionary thinking and sustained innovation that continues to shape how SOLID delivers value to clients.

• President’s Award – Jim Brown, Operations Manager
  The highest honor at SOLID, recognizing exceptional performance, leadership, and embodiment of our values.

Each of these honors represents not just individual achievement, but the ripple effect of leadership, teamwork, and shared purpose.

More Than an Awards Ceremony

While recognition took center stage, the evening was also about coming together.

At headquarters, teammates gathered in the breakroom to enjoy a generous spread of food and a dessert station—thoughtfully pulled together by our HR team. It was a simple but meaningful reminder of what makes this event special: conversations, laughter, shared pride, and the chance to pause and celebrate as one team.

Across the country, teams tuned in together, turning the ceremony into a shared experience that spanned time zones and locations—reinforcing that no matter where we work, we are part of something bigger.
